Adekunle Gold Unveils His New Band (Exclusive Photo)

Following Adekunle Gold’s exit from Olamide’s YBNL nation, the alternative soul singer has gone ahead to form a band for himself. In an interview with Planet TV, the “Orente” crooner, who noted that he has no vision to own a record label, revealed to his fans and the public that he is now the front man of his official band called “The 79th Element.” According to reports, the band’s name is drawn from the atomic number of the singer’s last name, “Gold.”
Adekunle Gold’s “79th Element” band has a couple of acts in it. The new band houses Micheal Bakare as its producer and music director, Oladele Afolabi handling the drums, Babatunde Alaba on percussion, Ojekunle Ayodeji on the keyboard, Owa Ayo on Base guitar, Femi Leye lead guitar, Kosoko Adekunbi and Aigbokhan Martins backing vocals.
If you are among the host of fans who were feeling bad for Adekunle because you think he was not going to make it in music after leaving YBNL, you better clean up your ears, as you wait for Adekunle to manifest alongside his newly formed band in its Golden Form. How many of you are happy for Adekunle Gold? Drop your congratulatory message.
